A Forgotten Town..

On Friday, my friends Zoe, Mitch and I decided to adventure a few hours out of the city to an abandoned town and take some photos. I decided to have a play around with some B&W filters and be a little arty. From desolated houses and a school, to doing my usual photography.. capturing people doing things.

Disclaimer: Some of these photos do NOT reflect my thoughts or beliefs. This is art I have created to portray how some people think, and to provoke feelings in the viewer.

Tom & Ellie’s Wedding

Shooting this wedding was extremely special to me, as I have known Elouise since we were 1 and a half years old, my oldest friend.

In February I was flown down to Adelaide to photograph their wedding which was held in beautiful Strathalbyn South Australia, at Watervilla House. What a perfect location!

This was ultimately one of the best, most organised and beautiful weddings I have ever had the pleasure of attending. I arrived at 9.30am and left at 11.30pm that night and had a blast every second I was there.

I laughed, I cried and I danced whilst taking photos of guests enjoying their evening!

It had it all.

Congratulations Tom and Ellie Doyle, you make a fantastic couple. Love you both x

Retinal Delights 2.0

Round two with this delightful clothing company, almost exactly a year on from their first. This time adding Hot Mess Boutique to the mix!

What an excellent time, the girls were all fabulous and the makeup was amazing!

Nekromantix!

I have loved these guys since I was a teen, so getting to photograph Nekroman himself was a dream come true!

They played at one of my favourite venues in Brisbane, Crowbar on Friday the 13th.. of course! (13th January 2017)

The Way We Were

For those of you who don’t know me, I once was a gig photographer. I used to haul myself to a few local gigs a week and take my camera along for the ride. I did it so often that I ended up shooting for a few zines here and there, attending festivals and international acts.

It had been a handful of years since I had taken my camera to a show, but my dear friend Richard from The Way We Were kindly asked me to take photos of his band, and it was so much fun!

I will be planning to take a few more photos of live bands here and there if anyone is ever interested. The flame has been reignited.

If you’re a fan of a little heartfelt punk rock, check out The Way We Were!
